She is on the teaching faculty of IPI, IIPT, the Denver  Psychoanalytic Society and is a guest teacher at the Denver  Psychoanalytic Institute. She teaches Infant Observation and is  co-editor of Intimate Transformations: Babies with Their Families. Her  focus in supervision is the Transference and Countertransference, mainly  helping the student understand her experiences with the patient as a  way to understand the patient, and how to use that understanding to  formulate interpretations. Of special interest are aspects of patients’  suffering which are preverbal, and therefore more difficult to  understand consciously.
