Caroline Sehon is a psychoanalyst, member of the American Psychoanalytic Association and the International Psychoanalytical Association, and psychoanalytic fellow of the American Academy of Psychoanalysis and Dynamic Psychiatry. She is a clinical associate professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Chair-elect of the adult psychoanalytic program of IPI (IIPT) and former Chair of the Washington DC Program of IPI (IPI-Metro), she mentors, teaches and supervises in IPI’s psychotherapy training programs.   

An author of several professional publications including journal articles and book chapters, Dr. Sehon maintains a full-time private practice of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in Bethesda, where she sees children, adults, couples, and families.
